Slow art day in Europos Parkas

On Saturday, April 10th, 2021, we invite you to visit the Europos Parkas museum and to experience the art pieces created by world-know artists s l o w l y.

Each one of us can have unique and memorable art experience. Europos Parkas, Open-Air Museum of the Centre of Europe, joins the international initiative “slow art day” when people all over the world visit museums and galleries to look at the art pieces s l o w l y.

All those who come to the museum are invited to observe 5 sculptures for 10 minutes each, with the goal to focus on the artwork and on the "seeing" itself. We invite you to share your experiences and discoveries. Please write us hq@europosparkas.lt

Please follow QR codes you will find on the plates of some art works. We have prepared some mini tasks.

We wish your art experience will be deep, meaningful and touching instead of fast and superficial.  It is an incentive to stop, to take a breath, to feel the "here and now" moment, to the joy of exploring art, nature, landscape, moments of mindfulness.
